Jo Burford biography
Jo Burford is one of the UK's leading digital talent and creator community specialists.
She has over 10 years' experience working with both high-profile digital talent and social media creators.
Jo Burford began collaborating with digital artist communities back at Talenthouse, moving to LA in 2013. She returned home to spearhead a diversity initiative funded by the BBC with the purpose of creating visibility to minority voices on YouTube. Today, those creators are now writing, staring, and producing feature films.
Moving to Twitter in 2015, she joined as the creator partner manager running successful events within every discipline of digital talent, from Viners to animators and artists.
From Twitter Jo moved into the influencer marketing space, Jo led global marketing at Whalar, leaving to start her own influencer consultancy and most recently Jo has joined a new communities- focused App, Aaqua as the global lead for creator communities.
Jo also acts as talent advisor to Space Hero, making recommendations on digital talent and supporting their work with creators.
